This website features the original paintings, illustrations, limited edition prints and note cards created by artist, Sandy Rotermund.

The original works include a variety of representational watercolor and oil paintings, and graphite/colored pencil illustrations. The rich color of the subject often requires applying multiple thin layers of pigment to the paper, adjusting each layer to reflect the subtle nuances of tone and color within it. The intricate detail is then captured using various techniques with the brush or other tools. Completing a painting or illustration using this method can take in excess of fifty hours from start to finish.

The reproductions of the original works use either offset printing or giclee, and are printed onto acid-free papers. The print editions are limited, and each print is signed by the artist.

In addition to the original works and reproductions, a variety of note card sets are also available. These note cards depict many of the original paintings available in the website, as well as additional works completed by the artist.
